Instructional Support / RBT
Born and raised in Florida, Ashley completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology. During her time there, she completed an internship at The Scott Center for Autism Treatment, which piqued her interest in working with individuals with disabilities. After graduating, she began working at a school for students with profound disabilities, implementing ABA, instructional and technology support, and related services. While working there, she has almost completed her BCaBA coursework and 1000 hours of Supervised Independent Fieldwork. Ashley has been working in various educational settings since 2008.
Looking to continue her education and become a BCBA, she moved to San Diego, California and completed a Master of Education in Special Education at the University of San Diego. While at USD, she completed full-time student teaching as a resource specialist and served as a student representative on faculty-led groups.
New to North Carolina, Ashley was looking for a home to blend her experience and knowledge in both ABA and special education. At Learn with the Best, she plans to work as a Registered Behavior Technician while finishing her BCBA coursework and hours. She is looking forward to helping students meet meaningful academic and behavior goals and make a positive difference in their lives.
