Sarah is originally from upstate New York but has been in North Carolina for about two years. She attended Russell Sage College earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies. She went on to earn her Masters degree in Secondary Education at the Sage Graduate school and has been working with children of all ages ever since. Craving varied experience, Sarah went to work as a high school teacher with students with intensive needs at a group home in New York for several years. She followed this experience as an education coach at Capital Region Speech and Swallowing. The unique challenges she faced in these positions prepared her for her next career of moving and teaching elementary and middle school English at Big Apple Academy in Brooklyn, New York.

After moving to North Carolina, Sarah continued working with children privately tutoring and teaching martial arts in the Raleigh area. She is excited to join the team at Learn with the Best School believing that there is something to learn from every experience. She hopes to inspire her students to set goals and reach their highest potential. Sarah will use her varied experiences to support her students in a safe and positive educational environment, while learning from them as well.

Outside of work Sarah thoroughly enjoys the warm weather and North Carolina beaches, spoiling her ferret, exploring Raleigh and training in Martial Arts.
