(English and Social Studies/History)

Ryan began his career in special education working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Behavior Interventionist, after graduating from the University of Vermont in 2016 with a major in Secondary Social Studies Education. He worked and lived in Vermont for several years, while also playing music semi-professionally. He moved to the Raleigh area and joined Learn with the Best School in 2020 as an Instructional Assistant, working in the middle and high school academic classrooms. He recently received his Masters of Arts in Teaching from NC State, and now teaches middle and high school English Language Arts and Social Studies at LWTB. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his pregnant fiancé and their dog, playing a variety of instruments and playing video games.
