Registered Behavior Technician
Jolie grew up in Irmo, South Carolina and as a young child, she enjoyed going to daycare where she would pretend to be a teacher and always sneak into the nursery to hold the babies and play with the little ones. As a teenager, Jolie lived in an orphanage where she got a variety of new experiences such as riding horses, attending summer camps and a lot of opportunities in leadership roles such as assisting with elementary dance lessons and even becoming the student librarian of the learning center on campus during after school hours. !
olie moved to Rock Hill South Carolina where she got her Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Consumer Sciences with a specialization in Early Intervention. This started her path of working with individuals with special needs whether it was as a special needs nanny, middle school special education instructional support and eventually as a Registered Behavior Technician.
Outside of work, Jolie likes to paint, read, listen to loud music and watch crime TV shows with her dog Isabelle and cat named Kitty (from Monsters, Inc.). Jolie is currently pursuing her graduate degree at Capella University to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is excited about joining the LWTB ABA team!
